New Parish priest of Medjugorje, Fr. Zvonimir Pavičić (Mostar, 1989), grew up and completed primary and secondary school in Široki Brijeg.
This is the same village that Fr. Jozo Zovko, parish priest in 1981, was born and grew up in.
Fr Zvonimir graduated from the Catholic Theological Faculty of the University of Zagreb in 2017.
He was ordained a deacon in Zagreb on February 26, 2017, and as a priest in Mostar on June 25, 2017.
As a deacon, he came to serve in Medjugorje, and from his priestly ordination in the same parish, he served as parish vicar until August 2022, when he took over the service of Medjugorje parish priest.
He came to Knock Shrine in Ireland in November 2022 and gave this beautiful testimony about his life and vocation.
